Please join us on Sunday, November 2 at 3pm for the WT Rainbow Connection Grand Opening Celebration, ribbon cutting, and hike. This newest section of the Whitefish Trail connects Rainbow and Murray Lakes. We will hike ~1/2 mile from the Murray Lake side to the new overlook with 360 degree views for a celebration and refreshments.

We ask for your help funding the new section of the Whitefish Trail. With the ever increasing competition for less and less funds and all the shifting federal and state funds, in 2025 we are changing the way we raise money for trail construction. This year - we are including YOU, the public. This bench location is unique across the trail system as it offers 360 degree views and is accessed from a short half mile walk. As you may know, there are only a finite number of Whitefish Trail benches available across the WT, and it's your opportunity to celebrate what the Whitefish Trail means to you or honor a loved one or special friend.
