New WT at WMR Grand Opening Celebration - Wednesday, October 21 - 4:30 - 6:30 pm

Please join us on Wednesday, October 21, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. for the Grand Opening Celebration of new Whitefish Trail at Whitefish Mountain Resort, featuring a ribbon cutting and refreshments. Developed through a partnership between Whitefish Legacy Partners and Whitefish Mountain Resort, the new trail connects the Whitefish Trail single-track at the top of Haskill on to the Resort. This new section of trail will be the first (and possibly only) Whitefish Trail section approved for Class 1 pedal-assist E-bikes. This new trail is the future connection into Hellroaring Basin and access to the Taylor-Hellroaring Project with FAMB and the Forest Service.

We will set up our Celebration area (tables and refreshments) at the top of the existing WT single-track - on the Bob Cedar trail to be ready at 4:30pm and will have the actual ribbon cutting ceremony on the new trail at 5:30pm and then walk to the boardwalk. People can come both from the Big Mtn Trailhead or Willow Tail Parking Lot (near the WMR base lodge). See attached map for mileage.
