THE WHITEFISH TRAIL

All The Ways to Volunteer

The WT is a popular community asset that provides an important link between our town and our natural lands. The long-range goals of WLP include development of the WT in the Beaver Lakes, Big Mountain, and Haskill Basin areas to eventually create a 55+ mile recreational loop trail on lands surrounding Whitefish.

As the trail grows, so does the need to have strong community support in place to sustain and maintain the trail. Volunteering provides an avenue for individuals to give back to their community in a way that allows them to develop new skills, learn about the wild lands surrounding our communities, teach skills to others, gain health benefits and make a difference in the community.
