I grew up in northern Vermont riding mountain bikes, ski racing on ice coast hardpack, and running around the woods and hills. In 1999, I ended up in Montana looking for bigger mountains and better snow and since then I’ve lived all over the Treasure State and have never left. I’m a University of Montana alumni and have spent a career working in the forest industry that has taken me across the US and Canada and allowed me to see some amazing things and work with even better people. Conservation and recreation are foundational to my life, and I try to instill those same passions with my family. We’re happy to call the Whitefish community home and can usually be found going up a mountain or down a river trying to stay one step ahead of another year older.

I’m excited to join the WLP Board, and decades ago, I remember riding skinny wheeled hardtails on “Legacy” trails at Spencer before any of them had clever names. It’s fun to see some things stay the same amidst all the changes in the Valley.
