This year, and for the first time ever, summer camps will take place at the new Whitefish Legacy Center! More details to come. For more exciting news, keep your eye on the youth page of our website for new camps, including an additional Girls on the Trail camp for girls 14-16!

This summer, there will be 5 CIT (counselor in training) openings for youth ages 13-16 who want to work with kids on the Whitefish Trail while practicing job skills and participating in outdoor education. It's a great way to gain leadership skills, be involved in a local nonprofit, and get a reference for a future job!

SPRING OUTDOOR EDUCATION PROGRAMS

RSVPs for FREE spring education programs - Mushroom Hunt, Orienteering, Stargazing, and more - opens two weeks before the event. These event dates will be released on a rolling basis on our website and will start in April.

SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS

It's school field trip season on the Whitefish Trail! This spring WLP has 15 field trips planned providing high quality outdoor education for schools across the Flathead Valley. Field trips take place mostly on Mondays and Thursdays between 9am-1pm and end in early June. Please leash your dog when you see the "WT Education Program in Session" sign at Lion Mountain!

If you are interested in helping with a school field trip, contact Haley, and we will provide you information. You don't need to be an educator - but you do have like being on the Whitefish Trail ;).
