🌼 From spring Wildflower Walks to Bike Tire Repair, it’s shaping up to be a full season of learning and adventure on the Whitefish Trail. Join us for these free community events led by local experts and designed to connect people of all ages with the Whitefish Trail and our community. Mark your calendars and register early as programs fill quickly! Most events require RSVP.

 Bear Aware Presentation - MT FWP (Whitefish) – Grouse Mountain Lodge – April 9 at 6 PM 

• Spring Bear Aware Walk – Lion Mountain Trailhead – April 20 at 5 – 7 PM 

• Earth Day Stargazing Party with Big Sky Astronomy Club – Holbrook Overlook Trailhead – April 22 at 7:30 – 10 PM 

• Orienteering Day with Grizzly Orienteering – Lion Mountain Trailhead – May 2 at 10 AM – 2 PM

• K9 Safety Trap Release Workshop with Montana K9 Safety– Lion Mountain Trailhead – May 4 at 2 – 4 PM

 Bike Tire Repair Clinic – Glacier Cyclery & Nordic – May 5 at 6 – 8 PM

• Mother’s Day Mushroom Hunt – Swift Creek Trailhead – May 10 at 2 – 4 PM

• Spring Wild Mushroom Hunt – Swift Creek Trailhead – May 18 at 5 – 7 PM

• Wildflower ID Walk – Lion Mountain Trailhead – May 29 at 5 – 7 PM

• Birding with Flathead Audubon – Smith Lake Trailhead – June 10 at 8 – 10 AM
