Whitefish Legacy Partners received more exciting news on fundraising for the 1,520 acre Beaver Lakes Easement. In October, we were offered a $100k Major Challenge Grant from the Whitefish Community Foundation leaving us with $185,000 to match the grant and complete the final easement payment by December 31, 2014.
This week, WLP received a challenge from a mystery donor that has pledged $85k once the match with the $100k Major Challenge Grant is achieved. To date, we have raised $61,000 towards matching the Major Challenge Grant, which means that there is only $39,000 left!
Both the $100k Major Challenge Grant from the Whitefish Community Foundation and the $85K mystery donation are contingent upon the community raising the final $39,000. All we need now is 1000 people to sign up to be a Whitefish Trail Friend and/or 39 people to donate $1000 each. We can do this–please join us today!
