2026 Youth Programs & Summer Camps
Camp Registration Opens Tuesday, APRIL 7 at 7PM
Whitefish Legacy Partners Youth Programs connect kids with nature through hands-on outdoor education, recreation, and stewardship experiences on the Whitefish Trail. Programs support health, well-being, and lifelong environmental awareness.
Dates and times throughout the spring, summer, and fall are announced 2 weeks in advance of each program. Topics include: Clay Day, Scavenger Hunt, Fairy Houses, and Friendship Bracelets. Stay tuned for updates! Registration opens 2 weeks before each event and we ask that you please RSVP.

• Camps take place at the Whitefish Legacy Center (new site - 855 Beaver Lakes Rd Whitefish)
Tiny Talons Camp (ages 5–7) – 2- & 3-day options
• Week 1: June 22–23
• Week 2: July 20–22
• Week 3: August 10–11
Forest Explorers Camp (ages 8–11) – 4-day camps
• Week 1: June 15–18
• Week 2: July 20–23
• Week 3: August 10–13
Girls Camps
• Girls on the Trail (ages 10–13): July 6–9 (9am–2pm)
• She Leads (ages 14–16): August 3–6 (9am–2pm)
Girls Bike n’ Swim Clinics (ages 11–15)

Counselor in Training (CIT) Program (ages 13–16)
• Limited spots (6 participants)
• Leadership and outdoor education experience

These summer programs look like a great way for kids to learn new skills and enjoy outdoor activities. A fun change from the usual routine, much like dressing up in a ron burgundy halloween costume for Halloween.

What a great lineup of summer camps for the kids! Between trail days and the CIT program there is so much to keep them active outdoors. My oldest has been hooked on the sled rider game all spring, so these camp weeks should balance out the screen time nicely. Thanks for putting this together!

The layout appeared fairly direct, and switching between the login area and other sections did not feel unnecessarily complicated during normal browsing.
