The 2025 Whitefish Trail Education and Community Program celebrated an impactful year, engaging 1,218 youth participants and 797 adult participants through a wide range of activities. The program provided 21 free field trips for local public schools across the Flathead Valley and accumulated a total of 7,111 participant program hours. Supported by 50 dedicated volunteers, the program strengthened our community's connection to the local landscape! Thank you to our 2025 education supporters for making it all possible: Applied Materials Foundation, DNRC Conservation Education Grant Program, Soroptimist Whitefish, Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund, Montana State Fund, MT Fish, Wildlife & Parks, Heart of the Rockies, National Fish & Wildlife Foundation, Wildlife Management Institute, Iron Horse Foundation, Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee, and Flathead Conservation District. We are so grateful for their support of our community education programs!
