The Whitefish Trail Hootenanny is less than 2 weeks away! Enjoy live music from two awesome local bands including HotDäyum! and New Wave Time Trippers. Hotdäyum is a seven-piece sonic powerhouse with an electrifying mix of groove, melody, and improvisation. Based in Whitefish, they deliver a high-energy, genre-defying experience that keeps audiences on their toes and the dance floor moving. The New Wave Time Trippers of 1985 create a totally tubular 80's dance party with both a visual and music show from the decade of decadence! granny 1 looks simple on the surface: wake up inside a mysterious house, avoid Granny, and find a way to escape. Yet beneath this straightforward objective is a carefully balanced combination of stealth, exploration, puzzle-solving, and resource management. Players must think carefully about every action because making too much noise or choosing the wrong route can quickly turn a safe situation into a chase.
The kids 12 and under getting in free is a nice touch for families. I was checking out Meowdoku earlier to see how the trail system connects, and it looks like a solid way to spend a Friday night with the live bands and food trucks.
Community gatherings like this hootenanny bring such a wonderful energy to the town and give everyone a perfect excuse to celebrate the outdoors together. Organizing a massive festival in a public park requires so much hidden administrative work to ensure everything runs without any issues. My cousin actually coordinates similar outdoor concerts and always keeps the Eventsquid phone number handy in case the digital registration system glitches at the entry gates. Managing a large crowd properly requires a lot of patience and good software. I hope the weather stays clear for the big day.
