Recent Whitefish Trail reroutes at South Spencer east-west connector
The long, hot days of summer are here, when afternoon plans revolve around jumping into an ice-cold lake or locating the best huckleberry patches. It's also the season to celebrate the early mornings and shadier parts of the Whitefish Trail - and you'll get the added benefit of solitude during the early morning hours. The entire Whitefish Trail system is open and ready for your trail adventures with friends and family.
Our 2025 South Spencer Reroute project is complete! In partnership with Flathead Area Mountain Bikers (FAMB), we decommissioned ~300 feet of very steep and severely eroded trail on the east-west connector and created ~600 feet of new sustainable, mellow-graded climbing trail. We are excited to hear what you think and could not have completed this project without the amazing folks at FAMB!
Send your trail reports and photos to info@whitefishlegacy.org!
While planning my last trip, I was overwhelmed with options and itineraries. I knew I wanted something tailored and immersive, far from commercial circuits. That’s when I started reading about Private Moroco Tours Discover Morocco, and it changed my whole perspective. Instead of figuring out logistics on my own, I could explore places like the Atlas Mountains, Berber villages, and hidden souks with someone who knew every path by heart. What I appreciated the most was how personal everything felt. I wasn’t just a tourist passing through — I felt like a guest discovering Morocco from within. No two days were alike, and each moment had its own rhythm.
