Over the course of two seasons as the Trail Coordinator for Whitefish Legacy Partners, Sam Bracken helped lead over 30 Adopt-a-Trail and Trail Crew workdays, completed several multi-day, trail projects, hiked hundreds of miles cleaning drains and clearing downed trees, and used his craftsman skills to do excellent woodwork on picnic tables, sign posts, fences, and guardrails. Sam’s easy-going demeanor and love for the landscape and community is infectious and made him a favorite among volunteers and trail-goers. Sam has taken a full-time opportunity as a Forester of Stillwater State Forest, and we are excited for his next step.
