End of September Trail Report

With the official start of fall on the Whitefish Trail come shorter days and dwindling crowds at popular trailheads! The understory reds and yellows match the just turning leaves of our deciduous canopy trees hinting at more colors to come. The trails could use a few soaking rains to help manage the dust from dry late summer days, but for now, we are relishing the clear, cool, blue sky days of early fall. Adopt-A-Trail Crews continue to work on their designated sections addressing issues from busy summer use. Give them a wave and a thank you when you see them!
