Call for Trail Volunteers

It’s almost time to start annual maintenance projects on the Whitefish Trail, and we are always looking for trail crew volunteers to help us keep the trails in excellent shape. Please email whitefishtrail@whitefishlegacy.org for more information and to sign up! Volunteer workdays will start in April.

Also, with the recent windstorms and the major wind event in December, we are anticipating a lot of downed trees on the Whitefish Trail. If you are interested in learning a new skill and helping us clear trees, there is a training opportunity for you! Flathead Trails Association (FTA) hosts First Aid trainings and USFS chainsaw trainings to get community volunteers the skills they need to help clear local trails.
