Our education programs on Whitefish Trail connect the community to the protected landscapes around us. Last year, 1,600 people participated in field trips, guided hikes, and outdoor education programs on the Whitefish Trail, and we are excited to expand these offerings in 2018.
This summer WLP is excited to be adding new Community Hikes & Bikes on the trail. These outings will bring people together exploring our local public land to inspire new trail users and build community. The Community Hikes & Bikes series is open to all ages and fitness levels.
Guided Learning Hikes like Bear Aware, Wild Mushrooms, and and Wildflowers are back by popular demand as well as weekly kids programs, Forest Explorer’s Camp, and Nature in Focus youth photography.
