Wildlife Tracks in the Snow

Join us to discover the basics of animal tracking in the snow. Learn the 4 basic patterns of tracks and how to start identifying who has been on the trail before you.

We will meet at the Big Mountain Trailhead and please be prepared for a 1-2 mile hike through snow both on and off trail.

Snow shoes are necessary. Sportsman Ski Haus will be providing free rentals for those registered who need them. Please contact education@whitefishlegacy.org if you would like to reserve some for the program.

Please be sure to check your email prior to the event in case of inclement weather and cancellation.

This program is free for the whole family and suitable for all ages, but we do require registration. Group size will be limited. Please grab one ticket for each person in your party and be sure to cancel if your plans change.
