About the event

Meander through the woods with Jen Guse from Flathead Land Trust and learn about the wide array of colorful wildflowers that line the Whitefish Trail. Learn how to identify local flowers, and noxious weeds, using hand lenses and field guides provided during this 2-3 mile hike.

This event is free and suitable for all ages and abilities, however attendance is limited and registration is required. Registration will open 2 weeks prior to the event on Eventbrite. When registration opens, reserve a ticket for each member of your party.

About Jen:

After 20 years as a seasonal botanist in Glacier National Park, Jen Guse joined Flathead Land Trust in 2022. Working in Glacier, where she fell in love with the local flora, fostered an appreciation for the natural resources of Montana. Living in the Flathead Valley for the past several decades fostered a deep desire to preserve the natural beauty and heritage of Montana.

We will meet at the Lion Mountain Trailhead at 6:00 PM.
