About the event

Join us in celebrating the Hit the Trail Challenge with STYLE...whether you do 1 lap or 10!

As an individual or as a team, try to run, bike, or hike as many laps as possible in 8 hours. Or just pop in to hang out for a couple hours and catch up on some of your May mile goals.

EVENT NOTES:

-You should be able to navigate the loop independently.

-This is a self-supported event. Bring what you'll need to have a successful day outside!

-There is lake access, so bring a swimsuit if you want to take a dip!

-Our tent will be stationed at Dollar Lake (~200' past the gate at the Trailhead towards the lake). We will have a whiteboard with markers, so you can keep track of your laps (see image below).

COSTUME BONUS: complete 2 laps in costume, and you get 1 BONUS lap!

Recommended costumes include...

  • your favorite movie character

  • something symbolic of loops

  • a fake sponsorship (ie. show up sponsored by a your favorite chocolate milk brand)

  • ...really anything goes

Your RSVP is not required to participate, but it will help us know how many goodies to bring!!

Ps. Bring the stoke.

Pps. You should also bring goodies.

IMPORTANT NOTES about DOLLAR LAKE DIRECTIONS:

-Do not follow google maps if it takes you past Whitefish Lake State park. This will pop you out on private land, and you'll hit a dead end!

-Instead, make sure your map is routing you past Beaver Lakes Trailhead! There will be Whitefish Trail signs to direct you to woods lake once you pass the beaver lake trailhead, or your map will re-route you the correct way at this point.

-Please note that the dirt road out to Dollar Lake Trailhead is very long and rough in spots. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the trailhead from Whitefish.

-DOLLAR LAKE TRAILHEAD has very limited parking. If full, you can park at Woods Lake Trailhead and walk over.
