About the event

Join local photographer Kristen Binder to learn about light, composition, perspective, how and when to use flash, and other tips for taking better pictures of your outdoor adventures. Bring any kind of camera; digital SLR, point-and-shoot, or smart phone.

Meet at the Lion Mountain Trailhead and prepare for a 1-2 mile hike.

This event is free and suitable for all ages, however attendance is limited and registration is required. Registration will open 2 weeks prior to the event. Please be sure to create your Eventbrite account to register or use the "remind me" tab to receive notification an hour before tickets become available. Kristen has a BFA in photography from Parsons School of Design and a Masters degree in teaching from Seattle Pacific University. She is a lifestyle and marketing photographer who chases light (and her two daughters) around the Flathead Valley and beyond.
