About the event

This is a volunteer opportunity for teens ages 14-16! Being a Forest Explorers Counselor In Training with Whitefish Legacy Partners provides opportunities for the development of leadership skills and responsibility while on the trail. This is a chance for your teen to grow in their ability to lead groups and practice job skills while under the supervision of our Education Coordinator. This is a unique position because it is very interactive and takes place entirely outside on the Whitefish Trail!

o   Each CIT will be provided opportunities to lead, depending on interest and ability, under the supervision of the Education Coordinator (examples include: leading an activity or game, leading group check-ins, leading hikes, etc.) with the goal of growing in confidence and autonomy in a work environment.
