About the event

Search for wild mushrooms and learn general classifications and identifying characteristics.  Dale Johnson, who has been exploring the woods for wild mushrooms for over 25 years, will be leading this fall mushroom foraging expedition.

Meet at the Woods Lake Trailhead at 2:00 PM and bring a basket or bag for collecting mushrooms.

This event is free and suitable for all ages, however attendance is limited and registration is required. Registration will open 2 weeks prior to the event. Please be sure to click on the link below to create your Eventbrite account to register or use the "remind me" tab to receive notification an hour before tickets become available. When registration opens, reserve a ticket for each member of your party.

To get to Woods Lake Trailhead: Take 93 North out of Whitefish, turn Right onto Beaver Lakes Road, continue on following signs for Dollar Lake and Woods Lake and onto Beaver Lease Road until you reach the final junction between Dollar Lake and Woods Lake, follow left to Woods Lake.
