About the event
Join us in Whitefish for an informative, in-person presentation with Justine Vallieres, Grizzly Bear Management Specialist of NW Montana, from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. We will learn all about Grizzly Bear management and recreating safely in bear country and have time to ask questions.
20% of all beer sales will go directly to Whitefish Legacy Partners' Education Programs! Come out and show your support!
This program is free and family friendly! RSVPs are encouraged but not required.
About the presenter:
Justine Vallieres is the Bear and Mountain Lion Conflict Management Specialist for MT FWP in Region 1. She has worked grizzly bear conflict management for the last 7 years here in region 1, and prior to that she worked on the wolf management project. She graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver with her B.Sc. in Natural Resources and Conservation with a focus in Wildlife Biology.
