About the event

Join us for an informative, in-person presentation with Lori Roberts, Research Assistant on the Grizzly Bear Trend Monitoring Team, and Justine Vallieres, Grizzly Bear Management Specialist of NW Montana, both from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. We will learn all about Grizzly Bear management and recreating safely in bear country with time afterward to ask questions.

This event is free, however attendance is limited and registration is required. Please be sure to reserve a ticket for each member of your party.

About the presenters:

For the past 16 years, Lori Roberts has worked on both research and management projects with grizzly bears for MT FWP. Before moving to NW Montana, she worked in the Bear Management Office in Yellowstone National Park. Lori graduated from the University of Montana with a B.S. in Wildlife Biology.

Justine Vallieres is the new Wildlife Conflict Management Specialist for MT Fish, Wildlife and Parks in Region 1. She was the grizzly bear conflict management technician for the last 4 years here in region 1, and prior to that she worked on the wolf management project. She graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver with her B.Sc. in Natural Resources Conservation focused on Applied Animal Science specializing in Wildlife.
