Ryan Hunter, Land Protection Specialist with the Flathead Land Trust, will be co-leading a hike on the Lupfer Trail on August 1st with Brian Manning from the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation. They will discuss conservation easements and their role in land conservation, how this property came to be protected by a conservation easement, and what the conservation easement allows and prohibits on the property. The hike will be about 3 miles long. Meet at the Lupfer Trailhead at 6:00 pm or meet at 5:30 pm at the tennis courts by Grouse Mountain Lodge to carpool to the trailhead.
