WLP has recently been awarded $10,000 from the Applied Materials Foundation to support WLP’s education programs! In 2018, WLP launched Community Hikes and Bikes to further connect our community to our local conservation lands. This year, we partnered with community groups such as Cancer Support Community Kalispell, Kalispell Veteran Center, Kalispell Regional Medical Center’s Journey to Wellness Program, and North Valley Hospital’s Diabetes Prevention Program to promote health and wellness and to provide recreation opportunities for those who may lack the confidence, skill sets, or resources needed to explore our local public lands.
We will build on this year’s success and expand programming for 2019
through the help of the Applied Materials Foundation. Thank you Applied Materials for the continued investment in outdoor education in our community!
