The Whitefish Trail is a multi-use recreational loop trail connecting community to important places worth protecting. The PLACES WORTH PROTECTING initiatives and continued construction and maintenance of the Whitefish Trail guarantees a legacy of conservation, recreation and education on lands surrounding Whitefish for future generations.
The Whitefish Trail runs through a mix of state, federal, and private lands. These cooperative partners seek to preserve public access, healthy forests, wildlife habitat and water quality on these open lands.
